DHA

Healthcare professionals including general practitioners, specialists, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, and allied health practitioners must pass the DHA (Dubai Health Authority) Prometric Exam in order to practice legally in Dubai. This mandatory computer-based licensing examination is administered by Prometric on behalf of the DHA. The exam typically consists of 100 to 150 multiple‑choice questions tailored to your specialty, and you must achieve a minimum passing score of approximately 60% Before registering for the exam, candidates are required to complete Primary Source Verification (PSV) via DataFlow, a process that confirms the authenticity of education, licensing, and work history documents. The verification process usually takes several weeks to a few months. Once verified, candidates can register for the exam through their DHA (Sheryan) and Prometric accounts. Upon passing, they receive a DHA Eligibility Letter, which is required to begin practicing in Dubai .
